Campus Development & Improvement Projects

Ongoing campus improvement initiatives are focused on enhancing our facilities to ensure the highest standards of educational quality, student safety, and modern learning environments. These developments form part of our long-term commitment to providing students with a safe, innovative, and future-focused educational experience.

Explore highlights of our recent and ongoing facility upgrades across the school. Each improvement is designed to strengthen student wellbeing, enhance campus safety, and support effective teaching and learning. These projects reflect our dedication to maintaining a modern, high-quality international school environment where students can thrive academically and personally.

Secondary Football Pitch Upgrade – ongoing

The Secondary Football Pitch Upgrade Project is now underway, representing an important step in the continued development of our school’s sports facilities. Construction of a new protective roofing structure, along with significant improvements to the playing surface, is currently in progress and scheduled for completion in March.

Once completed, the upgraded football pitch will provide a safer, weather-protected, and high-quality sporting environment for our students. The new facilities will allow for more consistent use throughout the year, regardless of weather conditions, and will support both physical education lessons and extracurricular sports activities.

These improvements will benefit students by promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and resilience, while also providing greater opportunities for training, inter-school competitions, and recreational sport. By investing in high-quality sports facilities, we aim to encourage active lifestyles, support student wellbeing, and create an environment where students can develop both their athletic abilities and confidence.

Primary School Generator Project – Ongoing

The Primary School is currently investing in a new backup power generator to further strengthen campus infrastructure and ensure a reliable, uninterrupted power supply. This important upgrade will help maintain a stable learning environment during school events, scheduled maintenance, and unexpected power outages.

By reducing disruptions caused by external electricity interruptions, the new generator will help protect valuable teaching and learning time while ensuring that school activities can continue smoothly throughout the day. This improvement will also support the safe operation of essential systems across the campus.

Once installed, the enhanced power system will contribute to more consistent school operations, improved safety and reliability, and a more secure learning environment for students. This investment reflects our continued commitment to providing a well-equipped school environment that supports high-quality education and student wellbeing.

New school van

The school has recently purchased a new transport van to replace the previous vehicle, further strengthening our commitment to student safety, reliability, and efficient school operations. This modern addition to our school transport fleet enhances our transportation services by providing a safer, more comfortable, and dependable travel experience for students.

The new vehicle is equipped to support daily school transport needs, helping ensure that students arrive at school and return home safely and on time. Reliable transportation also supports participation in school activities, educational visits, and extracurricular programmes.

This investment brings several important benefits to our school community, including improved safety standards, increased transport reliability, greater comfort for students during travel, and enhanced operational efficiency. By maintaining a high-quality school transport fleet, we aim to provide parents with greater peace of mind while ensuring students have safe and dependable access to school and school-related activities

Swimming pool tile replacement

The swimming pool floor tile replacement project has been successfully completed at both the Primary and Secondary campuses. The installation of new high-quality, slip-resistant tiles significantly enhances hygiene standards, safety compliance, and long-term durability across both pool facilities.

This upgrade not only creates a cleaner, brighter, and more modern aquatic environment, but also improves maintenance efficiency and facility sustainability. The enhanced swimming areas further support student wellbeing, physical education programmes, and safe recreational activities, reinforcing our commitment to maintaining exceptional campus facilities.

library upgrades

The Secondary Library has recently been upgraded to create a more welcoming, comfortable, and effective learning space for students. New modern seating, including a central collaborative sofa area, has been introduced to provide a dedicated reading zone where students can relax, read, and work together. The library layout has also been carefully reorganised to maximise space, improve comfort, and create flexible study areas for both independent learning and group collaboration.

In addition, more than 1,000 new books have been added across the Primary and Secondary campuses, significantly expanding our library collections and giving students access to a wider range of high-quality reading and research materials.

These improvements bring many benefits to our students. A well-designed library environment encourages a love of reading, supports literacy development, and strengthens research and critical thinking skills. The updated study spaces also provide students with a quiet and comfortable area to complete homework, collaborate on projects, and develop independent learning habits. By continuing to invest in our library facilities, we are creating inspiring academic spaces that support student wellbeing, curiosity, and lifelong learning.

auditorium

The new School Auditorium will be an exciting addition to our campus facilities and will be designed to comfortably accommodate more than 200 guests for assemblies, performances, presentations, and community events. This modern, multi-purpose space will support a wide range of academic and co-curricular activities and will reflect our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality learning environments for our students.

Once completed, the auditorium will serve as a professional venue for school assemblies, performing arts productions, guest speakers, examinations, student leadership events, and school celebrations. The thoughtfully designed space will ensure comfort, accessibility, and a welcoming atmosphere, encouraging strong student participation and engagement.

The new facility will bring many benefits to our school community. It will create greater opportunities for students to develop confidence and communication skills through public speaking, drama, music, and presentations. It will also support collaborative learning experiences, strengthen our performing arts programmes, and enable the school to host larger events in a dedicated and well-equipped environment.

As part of our continued campus development, the auditorium will play an important role in supporting students’ personal growth, creativity, and leadership development. This investment will provide a dynamic space where students will be able to showcase their talents, celebrate achievements, and participate in meaningful school and community events.

Our School Playground has been thoughtfully designed to support the principles of the Reggio Emilia–inspired learning approach, encouraging exploration, creativity, and child-centred development. Inspired by the educational philosophy developed in Reggio Emilia, the outdoor learning environment allows children to learn through play-based learning, interaction, and discovery in a safe and engaging setting.

The playground offers a variety of spaces that encourage imaginative play, social interaction, and sensory exploration. Through these experiences, children are able to develop confidence, independence, communication skills, and early problem-solving abilities. Open-ended play opportunities allow students to explore their ideas, collaborate with others, and develop curiosity about the world around them.

These outdoor learning spaces provide many benefits for students. They support physical development through active play, strengthen social and emotional skills through collaboration and teamwork, and encourage creativity and critical thinking. The environment also helps children build resilience, independence, and a love of learning from an early age.

New campus road

Our newly completed campus access road development has been designed to improve traffic flow, accessibility, and overall campus safety for both the Primary and Secondary campuses. The upgraded infrastructure makes daily drop-off and pick-up procedures smoother, more efficient, and more convenient for parents and guardians.

The improved road layout enhances vehicle safety, protects pedestrians, and supports better campus traffic management, helping to reduce congestion during peak hours and create a safer environment for students. By investing in modern transport access, we are prioritising student wellbeing, parent convenience, and the smooth operation of school activities.

This upgrade benefits our school community by ensuring safer and more efficient travel to and from campus, reducing travel stress for families, and providing a well-organised, accessible campus environment for everyone. It reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, future-ready international school campus that supports the needs of students, staff, and parents.

Canteen upgrades

Our recent campus canteen upgrade introduces a newly installed covered roofing area, providing students with much-needed protection from the scorching sun and extreme heat while lining up for meals. This improvement creates a safer, shaded, and more comfortable waiting space, supporting student wellbeing throughout the school day.

To further enhance the dining environment, large high-efficiency ceiling fans have also been installed to improve airflow and maintain a cool, well-ventilated canteen space. These upgrades significantly improve the student dining experience, ensuring that meal times are relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable.

This enhancement forms part of our ongoing commitment to modern campus facilities, student comfort, and a high-quality international school environment, where every improvement is designed to support student wellbeing, daily convenience, and a positive school experience
