PBIS 25th Anniversary - From Laos to the World
For the past 25 years, PBIS has remained committed to delivering high-quality education through the British curriculum, nurturing students who combine national pride with a global mindset. Through the dedication of teachers, the trust of families, and the achievements of our students and alumni, PBIS has grown into a school that continues to inspire young people to reach their full potential.
Throughout this special anniversary year, PBIS will celebrate its journey through a series of events, stories and community activities that reflect the values that have shaped the school since its founding.
These celebrations include the line up of excitement experiential activities such as the PBIS Documentary Series, Community CSR Events, PBIS Voice online episodes, A Journey of Love Pocket Book, PBIS Mascot, PBIS Time Capsule and the PBIS Legacy Night, which will honour the people and partnerships that have contributed to the PBIS milestones.
As we celebrate this milestone, we are also looking ahead to the future , continuing to strive to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every individual feels valued, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We are committed to fostering academic excellence, nurturing strong character, and inspiring a lifelong love of learning. We will continue to empower our students to grow into responsible, compassionate, and engaged global citizens.

In 2001, PBIS began simply out of a mother's love and a desire to build the best possible environment for children to grow. Today, we are incredibly proud to celebrate our 𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 and the thousands of stories written within our walls.

Watch as students, parents, and school leaders get their hands in the soil to plant a mini forest at Sai Jai Farm on behalf of the entire PBIS family. Through this unique partnership, a protected green space is being created—one that celebrates sustainability and preserves the natural beauty of Laos for future generations.
From our youngest learners to our founding leadership, this project reminds us that our legacy is not only about honouring the past, it is about investing in the future. Every great journey begins with a vision, a dream, and a deep sense of purpose.
During our staff induction, we reflected on the remarkable 𝟐𝟓-𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, guided by our official vision "To be a leading British international school in the region where every individual thrives academically, socially and emotionally, supported by an inclusive community," and how it all started.
𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟏 out of a mother's unconditional love and a necessity to provide the best education for her child, PBIS started with just 48 students and a few teachers. As we look back on how far we have come, we are reminded that everything happens twice: first in our imagination, and second when we take action to make it a reality. While we celebrate our past, we also look to the future. This school will live on through generations, reaching our 50th and 100th anniversaries and beyond.
Though we may not be here forever, the legacy we build together will endure. Thank you to our incredible team for bringing this vision to life every single day.

And today, that story came to life! We are absolutely thrilled to officially welcome our new mascot, Bobby the Bear, to his forever home at Panyathip British International School. As part of our special 25th-anniversary celebrations, our school community gathered to welcome this very special new friend.
Bobby was searching for a place full of laughter, kindness and curious children, and he certainly found it here! Hit play to experience the incredible atmosphere, the friendly faces, and the heartwarming moment Bobby realised this was the perfect place to call home.
