Learning with Us

Our school's vision and mission define how we will create opportunities for our students to learn. We focus on helping them develop self-esteem, confidence, resilience and the ability to take risks and learn from failure. We also aim to prepare our students to be responsible citizens who are considerate of others.

We strive to develop empathy in our students, encouraging them to care about complex issues and work collaboratively to find solutions in a multicultural and global society. It is important for them to discover their own voices and build on their unique talents and interests. While we prioritise the need for students to acquire transferable skills each day, we never lose sight of the individual child.

At PBIS, we provide an inclusive learning environment that welcomes families from diverse backgrounds. Our students benefit from an international curriculum grounded in British values. We believe that the most effective curriculum is developed collaboratively, continuously evaluated and improved, reflects the community's values and aligns with educational standards. Our goal is for students to feel safe and empowered to "become the best that they can be."

I am motivated by:

  • a sense of moral seriousness of what educational institutions do;
  • a conviction that education, while important should also be enjoyable and allow everyone to make progress;
  • a determination that each one of us must strive to become the very best version of themselves.
