COBIS Accreditation Press Conference

We are thrilled to announce that on February 22, 2024, Panyathip British International School hosted a press conference to officially share the fantastic news that we have successfully received accreditation and become a member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and, as a result, have become a full member of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA).

We were honoured to have Her Excellency Ms. Melanie Barlow, UK Ambassador to Laos, grace our event and speak about the significance of Panyathip British International School's membership in FOBISIA and COBIS. This aligns perfectly with 'Education is Great', the UK Embassy's initiative to promote UK education in Laos.

We were also privileged to have Her Excellency Ms. Deena Joy Amatong, the Philippine Ambassador to Laos, and representatives from the embassies of China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam in attendance at our historic event.

We firmly believe that this milestone is only the beginning of a remarkable journey for our school. With our unwavering passion, Panyathip will continue to set higher standards. We are proud to have been awarded 'Beacon status' for our Safe Recruitment and note that PBIS is only the 2nd out of 450 COBIS member schools and organisations around the world to receive such a distinction.
