PBIS Students Giving Back
our Global Perspectives students collaborated with mental health consultant Mr Mitthavisouk Rattana to lead a meaningful community outreach project at Thongkran Primary School.
Students were divided into three core groups:
1. An art session to promote mental health and emotional expression
2. Environmental awareness and recycling
3. Digital safety for young children
Other PBIS students led physical activities including dodgeball, a scavenger hunt, badminton and more – encouraging teamwork and building bonds with the local students.
The visit concluded with a heartfelt donation of school supplies, funded through student-led fundraising efforts - including selling drinks and papaya salad. Many even contributed from their own pockets, showing their genuine commitment to giving back.
It was a memorable experience for all involved, strengthening the bonds between schools and fostering a spirit of empathy, leadership, and shared learning.
