United for Luang Namtha: A Community Effort 

In response to the recent floods in Luang Namtha, the Panyathip British International School community has united to provide essential support. Last weekend, our CEO and COO, along with the Minister of Education, Dr. Phout Simmalavong, visited the area to assess the damage and identify immediate needs.

Our school has made an initial contribution of 20 million kip to aid in the cleanup and rehabilitation efforts and pledged to donate computer sets and printers to affected schools. However, the need for essential school supplies, particularly Lao textbooks, remains critical. We encourage parents to donate any spare Lao textbooks their children may no longer need.

To further assist, our Student Council will personally deliver these donations to Luang Namtha, giving our students the opportunity to witness the impact of the floods and engage in meaningful community service.
