Year 1's Green Fingers Adventure
Our Year 1 students had a fantastic day at 23Km Farm Cafe, where they embarked on an exciting journey through the world of plants! As part of their 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐈𝐏𝐂 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭, the children discovered how plants grow, why they are so important to us, and how they provide food, clean air, and materials for our daily lives.
The visit helped them realise the incredible role plants play in sustaining life and how they enrich our surroundings, bringing beauty to the earth and providing food for each and everyone of us. From exploring the diverse types of plants to engaging in fun farm activities, the children truly grasped the importance of caring for our natural world. This experience sparked a sense of awe and respect for plants, and the students left with a renewed appreciation for the wonders of nature.
